Crown & Craft ("we", "us") is a directory that connects clients with independent barbers and stylists in Kitchener, Waterloo, and Cambridge. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

• Booking requests: your name, phone number, city, and service preferences.
• Client waitlist: your name, contact info, and hair/service preferences.
• Barber/stylist signup: your name, contact info, service area, services offered, and profile details.

How we use it

We use your information only to connect clients with barbers and stylists and to contact people who signed up. We do not sell personal information to anyone.

Public barber & stylist profiles

Barber and stylist profile information — including name, photo, portfolio images, Instagram handle, WhatsApp number, and service area — is displayed publicly on Crown & Craft with the professional's consent. Barbers and stylists may request updates or removal at any time.

How we store it

Data is stored securely with our backend provider (Supabase) using industry-standard protections and access controls.

Your rights

Under PIPEDA, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Contact us at privacy@crownandcraft.ca and we'll respond promptly.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will reflect any changes.
